had a natural miscarriage

on Aug 07, 2009 @ 05:24 pm

I was about 13 weeks when i found out i was having a miscarriage. the pain and sadness was so bad i didnt even want to think of being in that hospital any longer so i opted for a natural miscarriage. also im a student and money is pretty low right now. I believe i passed everything because after two weeks the bleeding stopped and i have no more pain. i also felt something big pass through me and im pretty sure i know what it was. I feel fine now its been about a month since this happened im just still a little sad. like i said funds are low because im a student and i feel fine should i make an app to make sure it was all passed? its been a month and i feel fine. no bleeding no discharge no pain. what should i do?

I can imagina how you feel,my sister had a miscarriage after about a year of trying if i remember right. It took a couple of weeks of me trying to snap her out of depression. If I were you I would go in for a sonogram to make sure nothing is left. You can get an extremely serious infection if there is.

I believe most OB/GYNs strongly recommend a D&C;to make sure all the tissue is removed. Not having yourself checked is not a risk you should be taking! If money is tight, you might look for a women's health clinic (a free one, either private or through your city/state/province's health department) in your area to see what low-cost or possible free options you have. At the least, you will probably get some solid medical advice.

Don't risk it! This could impact your fertility generally or worse - your life.
