Insomnia sucks!

Melatonin is a great natural supplement that is safe to take. A nice glass of warm milk or almond milk also helps your brain create melatonin or you could try camomile tea. I like to also take a warm shower to help calm me down.
I hope you can find a solution to this nasty little problem. It's never fun to be laying there wide awake!

I hear you CaraGomez81 I have the worst time falling asleep. If I could just learn how to shut down all thoughts running through my head. I call it a successful sleep if I get 3-4 hours. Its not enough but better then zero hours. Best of luck
smiley_gen Melatonin what a great idea. I know that works. My grandson takes that.

Insomnia...

I get this occasionally and find reading or watching news stories attached to your fears, phobias, worries brings on insomnia because it's made that blueprint into your head before you go to bed. Just don't give your phobias or fears any headspace before you go to bed.

Once I had the same problem and it took a lot of time to fight insomnia. First of all, you should find out what causes it. Do your best to avoid stress, keep a healthy diet, exercise regularly, exclude alcohol, sugar, and caffeine. Also, it's a good idea to buy new pillows and mattress (check out this website to find the best option https://mattressive.com/ ). All these steps will improve your sleep, guaranteed.

I havent been sleeping well since my fathers passing.I know Melatonin works, its only for a short period use though, and you need enough hours from when you take it and when you have to wake up, which is my problem.I start work at 0700 and im done work at 8 pm, and get into bed around 10ish so it doesnt leave much time to get the proper sleep.Having a shower just wakes me up,im having a tough time.

Found something that helps

I have a problem with insomnia as well. My mind just does not shut down. I got a product in a FabFitFun Box called This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. I am not into aromatherapy and have smelled a few sprays, but just never liked the lavender smell. This stuff smells amazing. I also wake up during the night and struggle to get back to sleep. One spray on my pillow and I fall to sleep in just a few minutes. The great smell still lingers the next day and my hair smells fantastic. A bottle lasts quite a long time. I have already ordered more.

Insomnia

Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that can make it hard to fall asleep, hard to stay asleep, or cause you to wake up too early and not be able to get back to sleep. You may still feel tired when you wake up. Insomnia can sap not only your energy level and mood but also your health, work performance and quality of life. As per the Canadian Pharmacy, taking any pills to overcome this will definitely lead to addiction of those pills resulting in the side effects like foggy head. To avoid this you can do some yoga and meditation, go for walks on regular basis, have your dinner 01 hour prior to sleep, avoid junk foods during night.

I understand you. I had this when I was in college. I had a job that I really enjoyed and I spent a lot of time there. Sometimes I didn't have time to study and asked for help in https://writinguniverse.com/exemplification-essay-topics/ . I was forced because I wouldn't have time to sleep. But I started having insomnia and I couldn't do anything. It was unbearable! I started exercising regularly and taking sleeping pills and after two or three weeks the insomnia disappeared
