Knee Replacement

I had my left knee replaced almost 2 mths ago and would like to know who else has gone through this, How long did it take to recover?? How does it feel now??

My mother in law had both knees done,it takes time and its different for everyone ,but after having it done she feels better

My dad had both his done at once. It was hard. 2 weeks in the hospital after for Physio. It took about a year to be feeling really good. He's in his 80's and has had many surgeries. But everyone is different depends on your health too.

Never gone through this, but...

I know one of the most important things after surgery is doing your physio. My brother in law had a fairly serious arm injury, didn't listen to his doc and now has permanent damage. :(

I've been doing Physio since my injury almost a year. So sick of it but can't quit or won't get better. It's very important.

stardaz Sorry to say, but be prepared for up to a year to recuperate. I'm sure your doctor must have explained what to look out for etc. With your therapy all will be fine; good luck
