Sorry to hear about the migraines :( they are never fun.

I use tylenol migraine for medication. But mostly, I just turn off the lights, put a cloth on my forehead, and have something with caffeine within reach.

Good luck :( they suck

I do the same as above post.
If husband is home I will try and get him to rub the back of my head or neck and try and sleep.
I really hope u feel better soon.

.

I usually just take painkillers and try and sleep in the dark, but it doesn't always work. It's an awful feeling.

I use Advil migraine strength and a cool washcloth over the eyes and forehead.

Migraine relief

I have a prescription medication called Maxalt that is a wonder drug. It does usually take up to an hour before I feel relief so I will often take 800 mg of ibuprofen liquid gels as well to quickly dull the pain a bit while I wait for the Maxalt to work. A cup of coffee and a cold cloth or ice pack on my neck and forehead also helps, particularly in the summer when I'm prone to heat induced migraines.

:(

Migraines are the worst. I usually massage my head, temples, basically wherever the pain is, I just massage in a circular motion. If it's any worst, I just sleep on it.

Natural is best

I increase my water intake. Also, try adding supplements and vitamins to your diet! They really do make a difference.

Neurologist

Have you seen a neurologist yet? I'd recommend seeing one and they can make suggestions based on your particular circumstances. I use a sublingual rizotriptan and my daughter uses Relpax (pill). Mine works fast and you can take one then if you still have it you can take a second one 2 hours later. Works fantastic for me.
