NEW GLASSES

martac

So I got my new glasses and I am only supposed to use them while on the computer working. They feel weird and I don't feel like they are working. Is this a normal reaction when you first start wearing them.

takes time

yes!! it takes some time to get used to them ,, but if you find them really uncomfortable you may need an adjustment... maybe your prescription is a low one so you dont notice it a lot...

...it'll definitely take some getting used too, especially if you've never worn glasses beofre in your life

Normal

I recently switched from full time contacts to full time glasses. It was a hard transition. Took me about 7-10 days of full time wear to adjust. It does take time. It may take longer since you're only wearing them part time. If you can't adjust within 2 weeks, go back to get the prescription checked.

Yes give it a few days. I wear contacts and never wear my glasses. When I do have to wear them I feel like I am drunk or something. It takes time to get used to them!

Absolutely, I always thought I was weird because of this, I guess it's normal. When I first wear a new prescription I always feel a bit dizzy and off. Don't worry!
