I had never heard of portion pals until I saw the reviews on this site under health care. Apparently you put your food on them and they show you what size portion is correct for a different food type. People say they work - but doesn't your portion size vary based on your height, activity level, age, gender, etc???

Also a postion of fried chicken is not equal to a portion of skinless chicken breast in my world...

who thinks they work - and why could you not lose weight before you had them?

I wonder the same thing

I think everyone is different and there is no one weight solution that will work for everyone. I think it requires listening to your body, common sense and where necessary, help from your Doctor or Dietitian.
