Tattoo of an Angel

I have never has a Tattoo  done before and I am a bit nervous about having one done to tell the truth.I have for a long time wanted to get a Tattoo of an Angel and my Deceased Grand-Son(who was only seven at the time) put on my lower Back.I don't know anything about this ,if it hurts to get done or if they are very expensive.I haven't even chosen a place yet because,I want to know who is doing this and if the needles are clean.I have a little research to do first.Any info would be greatly appreciated Chicks.

no tattoos for me I hate them but go for it if it's what you want. Sorry to hear about your grandson that's so sad... it would be a memory think of it like that might be easier to do....

What a beautiful idea to honor your grandson. I don't know where you are located, but generally there are LOTS of reviews online for tattoo shops/tattoo artists. I've always based my tattoo choices on these reviews - customers generally don't lie! Also, start asking around. People are generally pretty vocal about things like tattoos (lots of passionate people on this subject!) and sometimes the best recommendations come from word of mouth for things like this.

I have several tattoos and have not found them to be overly painful - but you can buy something called an Emla patch or Emla cream (behind the pharmacy counter) that will numb the area for you. I don't have any lower back tattoos but have heard that it is one of the least painful places to tattoo.

Best of luck Angelwings - what a beautiful idea.

Do your research on each place, feel free to go into the parlor and ask questions. As for the pain it depends on where you are getting it , what you are getting , and your own personal pain tolerance.
I have a high pain tolerance so mine didn't hurt , when she was doing shady I found that hurt a bit more. . My eldest daughter has a low pain tolerance and she has to take many breaks when she gets one done.

I have a tattoo of my son who passed away.

I think this is a great idea. Make sure that you go to a reputable tattoo parlour in your home town. You can go there and talk too them, see there work, ask questions. If you know people who have tattoos you can ask them where they got theres done. Often times they will give you opinions on who too go to and who to stay away from. I have a small tattoo on my back and it never hurt, but it all depends on where you get it. Good luck! Mine costed $150 and its the size of a small plum. Depends how big you want it. Some places will charge $800 for the length of a banana. Go shop around...Different parlours have different prices. And look at there work, they often have portfolios.

I'm not a big fan of tattoos either. Especially those whose meaning a person does not know. But if the tattoo is just decorative and colored, I like to look at them. Personally, I will never get a tattoo, but my girlfriend is about to.

I know people like that, too. I especially like it when such people find out the meaning of tattoos and try to remove them. After all, everything can be found on the Internet these days. For example on the site https://glaminati.com/tattoo-ideas/, you can read about tattoo ideas. I think that for fans of tattoos, it will be interesting.
