Okay so the Tequila Diet is actually becoming a thing, so does this mean drinking endless margaritas is finally becoming acceptable?
A recent study found that agavin, which is a natural sugar found in tequila- producing agave plant can help with weight loss and diabetes. They fed agavin to mice and it actually worked and gave the mice who ate the agavin had lower blood sugar and caused them to eat less.
While we wait for these agavins to hit supplement stores near you, I think I'll just stick to my salt rimmed margarita.
