I havent read the book, but i will jump on the link and check it out. It took me untill my eary 30s to really accept who I am and my self worth. Its not as easy as it seems. "Just Be" "I am all that I Am...and its okay" The number one person is you..you are aloud to be selfish. You get one life..so accept yourself and live your life.

Ellamae1 you took the words right out of my mouth. Accepting ourselves is not easy. I to struggled a lot with this, I worried way to much what others thought, and lost sight of my goals, dreams and who I was for a while. Even though I have worked really hard at understanding myself, and realizing who I am and what my role in this life is. I am OK with me, and I am worth it, some days are easier than others, but I just take it one day at a time.
You are so right when you say, the number one person is you, and it's OK to be selfish.I am a work in progress, and I like who I am, a few years ago I would not have been able to say that. We do only get one shot at this life, and finding the best way that works for you is not always easy.
But very rewarding when you finally find that peace within, when it's OK just to be you.
