I'm new here and I don't know where else to ask.
So. I started my period March 4th through the 5th.. then I spotted the 6th and the 7th. So, it was lighter than it usually is. My normal period is about 4-5 days long. Then, I start again on March 28th and it ends the 31st. But this period was definitely odd. It was brown blood. A couple times when I changed my self I saw a little bit of bright red blood.. but that was only like twice. It started 5 days early.. and 13 days after I ovulated. Any ideas? It is too soon to take a pregnancy test. But, I'm going to call my ob-gyn about it in the morning before I go to work! Help?

There really isn't any way to know why this happened. It is fairly common to get your period twice in one month and in your case one is at the beginning and one at the end, so really you are only off by about a week. There are countless discussions on ChickAdvisor. Just search period twice in one month.
I wouldn't worry about it until there is a reason to. No one has a perfect cycle. Go to your Doctor and you will get all of the answers you need. Chances are you're just fine!

Everything Ali told you is right, but it can also depend on your age and

Both ladies are right - no one ever has a perfect cycle. Everybody has off months and this could be just one of yours! Brown blood is old blood. Sometimes if my period comes late there will be some brown blood as well. It's probably just because for whatever reason it's taken a little longer to leave your body and it could be the same in your situation. Brown tinged blood is not an abnormal period finding.
Do go to your doctor, but don't worry! Normal part of womahood unfortch.

My period was normal ish at the beginning of the month. Didn't last as long as usual. But it happens. This old blood came the day after my ovulation week. With light cramping. It came suddenly with no signs of it coming like it usually does. I've never had a period like this. Even after I gave birth to my son... and he is now 3. I don't take bc because i personally don't like it. I made an appt to see my ob-gyn Thursday. I go to a mid wife.

Everyone has different cycles and they are never perfect (like the other ladies mentioned above). It's best you talk to your doctor, especially because everyone's body is different, nothing anyone tells you here online may be what is going on for you. Your doctor understands your body best, so you shouldn't be shy to go talk to him/her.
