Tinnitus. Any suggestions?

Some time ago I noticed a background hissing noise in my ears. It hasn't gotten worse, but it always is there. I can handle that, but I'm curious if it can be cured?

Tinnitus

I suffer from tinnitus for some years. Fortunately, it's gone since wearing hearing aids. I regularly changed them at a hearing aid shop and can live a normal life. I suspect it's a matter of severity. Mine isn't terrible by comparison to some stories I heard.
