Treadmill/Exercise Machines vs. Group Classes

so, this year,  my neighbor and I joined Goodlife Fitness (some facilities offer 24 hours / days week) good for my crazy mommy schedule.

threadmills and other machines are their anytime.

group classes/aquaclasses have schedules.

Which ones do you prefer, if you have this kind of membership (ALL INCLUSIVE - exercise machines group classes)?

I really enjoy the classes but they don't always fit my schedule. I try to make it to the classes I like when I my schedule permits and if it doesn't I like just turning on my music and losing myself in the machines.

Definitely my favourite class... tones the body really well

If wanting to work on your own, I strongly recommend the kettle bells...
10-20 mins of kettle bell (properly) is better than 1hr of running...
depends on your goal... whether weight loss, toning, building muscle etc

Empress! Body Pump is Painful the day after on Jan 06, 2012 @ 06:49 pm

Oh my Empress, that class is a killer. The next day I needed Advil. I tried it once, it was very good but, since we don't really lift weight each day, it seems my muscle complained.

I have tried the Body Combat, which is good cardio, but did not give me muscle sore the next day.

Zumba too looks fun.

Alize: i find that their schedules too are hard to work around, so the treadmills are good, just I am trying to keep myself from being bored.
