Tubal Ligation Procedure..

Women, how many have had your "tubes tied"??
and Have You Ever Regretted Getting It Done?

I had it done at 19, two months after having my first child.
My doctor at the time offered the procedure because he says he "didn't like my current boyfriend"...
Which I understood because he wasn't "father material". I was naive to know he didn't have the right to pressure me into a life long decision!! Anyways...I had agreed & had the surgery, and went on living happily! (without the bio dad btw)
Even tho I don't have the option to have any more,..(I do feel sad sometimes..) BUT I'am Very Thankful To Have Atleast The One Child =) and Proud how wonderful she has turned out to be!! <3

I had tubal Cauterization.

Personally I would never had such a permanent procedure so young, but its a very personal choice. I had my first child at 19 with what ended up being a 'deadbeat dad'. Almost 14 years later I married and had my second child. At that point I knew I was done having babies and got my tubes burned closed as the cut and clamp kind of tubal is less than 100% effective and burning the suckers is very effective. Cauterizing could not be reversed later and I have zero regrets about that! :D

You could try to get your tubes reattached if you are regretting the decision or you could still look into extracting your own eggs, fertilizing and implanting in yourself.
