My husband and I have an appointment for this to get done. We have 4 kids and we are now too old to have more. He wants to be safe but in the last few months we have heard of/know at least 4 couples that got pregnant again. I am starting to worry that this procedure is not as bullet proof as we were once led to believe.
Have you heard of this happening a lot in your area which you live? I wonder if it's the procedure or just a Dr's error that is happening.

I have never heard of it happening but I hope it's not true as my boyfriend has an appointment this month for one as well. I'm about to have baby #4 (he has 2 from his previous LT and this is my second child so that's enough lol). Maybe ask your doctor when you go what the chances are and if there is a chance maybe also using birth control will be an option? I was considering an IUD after baby arrives but hubby really doesn't want any more kids lol good luck! :)

I heard that the guy should have a lot of ejaculations before the vasectomy is effective (like 50 or something like that) so the first months you have to use protection. Please let me know if I'm wrong....
