Weight loss without saggy skin

Anonymous

Hi everyone!

I am currently trying to lose about 40-50lbs and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and the effect it has on skin. I am really worried about saggy skin, especially a saggy chest. The weight is pretty evenly spread out on my body. I mainly have stretchmarks on my arms and thighs with only a bit on my hips and breasts.

I plan on doing the weight loss slowly over  the next year or two to try to minimize any skin.

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

weight loss without saggy skin

This thread is very interesting to me because after I gave birth to my triplets 25 years ago the skin on my stomach looks like elephant skin and it sags horribly.

I would like to shed some weight because I have really bad knees and will eventually have to have both knees replaced. I am hoping that if I shed some weight, I can prolong the inevitable.

I will be following this thread...……………..

I don't know from personal experience when it comes too weight loss but I do know that if you do it slowly and incorporate weights in your workouts the saggy skin can be minimal. Also depends on HOW much you need too lose. 40-50 pounds I don't think will cause much saggy skin if any....I would also use some skin creams on your stomach etc. while oosing weight.. I swear by PURE shea butter and cocoa butter from the natural food store. High in vitamins and antioxidants and known too prevent saggy, or stretch marks etc. I didn't get one single stretch mark when I used those in combination when I had my kids.

I think when its over the 100's of pounds then thats when the saggy skin may happen but I do know that if you loose over 100 pounds or more doctors in Canada would give you a tummy tuck or whatever it may be for free as my friend who was overweight had this done as well as a breast reduction for free.

Good luck~ you can do it!!!!
