Why do I constantly have to blow my nose?

Hello Community,

I have noticed the past year or more I
have been blowing my nose extremely frequently. A good guess would be
about 20 times a day, which is a lot more than most people, and more
than what is probably normal.
It has gotten even worse as of late. Last week I was a bit sick -
fever, runny nose, slight cough, thick saliva - and since then the nose
blowing is off the charts. I am no longer sick or have the symptoms as
before, so why I now have to blow my nose about 40 times per day. If anyone having any idea relating this topic please suggest me.

Best Regards,
Robert Simon

You may have allergies.I was fine then one year it just hit me and I started getting seasonal allergies..I use a Neti pot which really helps to clean out my sinus. But check with your doctor to find out if it could be allergies.Good Luck..

If it doesn't happen to be sickness, or even allergies...

This might sound a little strange, but maybe you have developed a slight "addiction" to blowing your nose so frequently? Sometimes it happens..

You never know.

Have you ever had a surgery with or near your nose? Just a wild guess but that could impact your breathing over time.
Or maybe it is inflamed inside from new allergies or something. Check with your doctor.
