Yep yep!

Having parents that both come from the tropics and loving the tropics myself, I find that I get down in the winter time.. Last year I took up snowboarding for the first time and it made the winter months fly by much faster.

....

Even though I was born here, I hate the greyness of the winter. I hope it ends soon, hopefully the groundhog will see his shadow...

Litebook

Do you know anyone who uses that litebook thing they sell at Shoppers Drug Mart - Home health? It is a desk light that is supposed to simulate sunlight and help elevate one's mood. I wonder if it works...

February

February is starting soon, then comes March and before you know it, it is spring again. I can't wait. I don't like winter. I can only take snow, in moderation. ;)

Spring is almost here...

I hear ya! Spring is right around the corner! I like snow (you can board in it)...I don't mind cold (the crisp air can be refreshing)... I have the dullness....everything seems dreary....salt on the roads/cars....everything grey or brown....need some Spring color!

Oh boy

Dont get me started on winter blues! I absolutely HATE it. hate it hate it hate it. I LOVE sun, heat, palm trees. agh! who needs cold, darkness, being stuck indoors for 6 months. i cannot stand being stuck in my place for days. not to mention waking up in darkness and going home in darkness. my goal is to leave canada. haha. and not bring my winter jacket with me. just sandals and summer cloths.

Beach gal eh?

Yeah I am torn on that. I think I would be even cheerier if I lived somewhere with the sun continuously shining but then without the winter you would never look forward to the spring as much as you now do! Not only that, there is snowboarding/skiing etc! I love fall/winter fashion as well...

La Isla, you read my mind

Every winter I make this huge speach about hating the cold that sounds exactly like what La Isla said above. (lol!) I'm all about the palm trees and live for summer. I know that's not how a good Canadian should think, but the cold in winter actually makes me mad! Yes, I know that's not rational but what can I say?

That's actually a big part of the reason I left Winnipeg. I simply refused to go through another winter with temperatures dipping to -20 to -40. That's for polar bears, not people.
