So during my pregnancy I was doing great was so proud I had no stretch marks (which I was nervous for because I heard that its based on genetics and my moth had tuns from me) and then a week ago I took a mirror to look at the lower part of my belly and there they were starting :( and a couple months ago I noticed them starting on my breasts.
I know and understand that it isonly nnormal to get them im not freaking out dw but maybe some of you have som suggestions on how I can keep them from going out of control crazy and how I can reduce the look of them after baby is born. I have bin useing pure 100% Vitamin E oil sice about my 5th month and im on month week 36 tomorrow. Any products or home remedies or diet suggestions to help ?

coconut oil is great too ... just put it on a couple times a day!!! aloe vera is also a really good one to use .i got slight strech marks on my legs just below my hips so use some there too... oh coconut oil is very inexpensive and has many other uses too!!! happy pregnancy!!!!

A lot of Moms swear by the Bio Oil. I personally couldn't stand the scent of it, and preferred Palmer's, was alternating between belly butter and the oil. They were a lot cheaper than Bio Oil, I liked the scent and they worked for me. I did get some stretchmarks but not as bas as I expected (I got worse on my thighs and hips in puberty). I used the stuff minimum twice a day.
A friend of mine who swears by Bio Oil used it most of her second pregnancy and kept on using it after she gave birth and over time her stretchmarks faded a lot.

Stretch marks can sometimes slowly fade away. Aside from microdermabrasion to remove the outer layers of skin there is not really a cure all. Some swear by vitamin E. If you'fre looking for a cream or lotion that you can benefit from try and get one that has Retin A which does help a little more. Weight gain and weight loss also change the apparance of stretch marks.

I started with bio oil at 10 weeks then switched to Palmers body butter. I never got one stretch mark and I was huge.

I used every kind of oil out there! Nothing will make them disappear but some will help minimize them. Bio-oil is good, it's costly but hey if it works then it's worth it! Baby oil and Vasoline was what I used throughout my pregnancy and they seemed to work well. Yes I think your right it's genetics but it doesn't hurt to try!

Palmers body butter doesn't work for me. My stretch marks were pretty prominent but don't worry they would finally fade out. My little one is 19 m.o. and my stretch marks finally disappear

nothing can stop them from coming.i used vitamin E oil religiously and kept my skin hydrated and drank plenty of water etc... to no avail.my daughter used everything under the sun including vitamin e and coconut oil.i think she bought every product on the market.she was doing good with no stretch marks until the last week of her pregnancy then they came.afterwards she continued to use products every day for over a year including ones with retinol.nothing worked.shes stuck with them.
