Stretch Marks

Sugar is a natural exfoliant. Mix 1 tsp. of it with a few drops of lemon juice, rub over area and rinse. Aloe Vera is also great.Olive Oil can be heated and applied to the areas; no need to wipe this off because it keeps skin smooth and supple. There are lots of things that you have at home that are handy and cheaper than buying a special stretch mark cream

homemade stuff can get pricey, I bought the palmer's stretch mark cream and it worked really well for under 5$ at walmart.

Since this is one of the only thread in English, could you ladies see a lot of some sort of Oriental characters? I'm scared I have a virus that's why that's what I'm seeing.?

jujusamples - I see most threads in characters (not English) as well. Not a virus - must be a glitch at ChickAdvisor!

Ugh....stretch marks. I've had them on my stomach for years and I use Bio-Oil. It doesn't work the greatest, but it does leave my skin really nice and soft.

Stretch marks

I used to be so bothered by mine which were caused by rapid weight gain during both pregnancies. After awhile they fade thankfully. For all of us who complain about having them there are women out there who would do anything to have the chance to get them. I just use regular body butter or moisturizer or oil. Nothing fancy because mine are old. Of you're trying to avoid them keep hydrated - drink lots of water and use a very thick moisturizing lotion or oil and slather it on every day. Genetics plays a role as well as how rapidly you gain weight (most of it in the third trimester) and also how quickly you lose weight. Then you're left with saggy skin and stretch marks. I say don't give too much thought to them - women have enough body image issues to deal with as is - we don't need something else plaguing our self esteem based on body image. Be proud of those tiger stripes! They are reminders of your beautiful babies you created and brought into this world :)

Interesting info. I didn't try DIY stuff for stretch marks. Always thought only a professional can help.

Aloe vera works well in the treating many skin area problems

Aloe vera works well in the treating many skin area problems. Its healing and soothing properties can be used to remove stretch marks. There are always a handful of ways to use it. You can directly rub aloe vera gel on the afflicted skin area, leave it on for a quarter-hour and then rinse out your skin with lukewarm drinking water.

It's better to do your best to prevent stretch marks. Keep your skin hydrated - moisture it regularly (at least twice a day). But if you already have stretch marks, it's possible to remove them with microneedling or mesotherapy https://lumiskins.ca/stretch-marks-removal-in-toronto/, for example. These methods are effective and painless.
