Help the elderly

Most bigger Cities (and some Towns) have a lot of programs to assist the elderly. If you are lucky enough to have a 311 information line (we have one in Edmonton, AB) and it's marvelous. You can check there to find out about these programs. If not, contact your City or Town Hall and see if you can't get something started for the elderly. If all else fails, simply encourage friends, neighbors and your children to be extra kind and helpful to these people. So many seniors need help and sometimes just enjoy having someone to chat with. Pass it on, pay things forward. They (the seniors) made our Country the paradise that is, even gave us the vote so now it is time to pay it forward and help them out.
