Just an idea

Now that the weather is nice it’s always fun to look for new places to go hiking and find trails, waterfalls or places to go swimming. Outdoors stuff is always a good idea, it’s free and keeps you active :)

If you have another couple I suggest a double date to an escape room. My boyfriend and I and my best friend and her husband go ALL THE TIME. It is the most fun. You'll have a blast.

3 Things Every First Date Must Have

Great First Date Setting

-It must be unique - What
does asking her out to dinner and a movie tell her? That you're unoriginal,
boring, and afraid to take risks. You want the first date setting to be
something memorable and edgy so you can make an immediate impact.

-It must be active - The
less activity in the date, the more opportunity for awkward silence to creep
in. Physical activities are a great way to get feel-good endorphins going. They
also help you bond with one another and work up a sweat that hints towards
something sensual.

-It must be affordable -
Yes, I know you want to impress her right off the bat. But if you take her on a
trip overseas or do something super-expensive, guess what? She'll expect at
least the same on the next date. In short, you don't want to set yourself up
for bankruptcy by creating outlandish standards from the start.

My first date choices
would be something easy, but yet fun, and where we can both get to know each
other better, and some of the things I think about are places like an amusement
park, karaoke bar, dog park, bowling, the zoo, or an aquarium, but nothing is
wrong with going to Tim Horton's either

Basic but More Talking

Any restaurant with a bar is always a go-to because it allows for talking with food and drinks. Another idea is taking a walk in a park followed by a picnic to allow for some quality alone time while enjoying nature.

Drive-in theatres are pretty fun. Apart from it, you can make a reservation at any theme based food joints.

My go to ideas!

I have a few places that I always keep on rotation. One is this semi-grungy bar (family friendly during the day)/ old-school arcade and live music place. Its great because you have an activity to do together but also a place to sit and talk/have a drink/eat or listen to music for whatever vibe you feeling that night. I know many cities have places like this too with board games or video games.

I also like using dates to try a new restaurant/type of food I've never had. Trying new things is always more fun with someone else and can lead to lots of chats and sometimes even laughs.

In the summer I enjoy getting ice cream and going for a walk in the city.

I tend to use facebook events a lot to see what kind of things are going on. Weather it a festival of some sort, show, pop-up etc. it constantly changes things up!

Where I currently live museums are free on Thursday nights which is also a good in a pinch!
