Has anyone read or seen the book "Don't Be That Girl" by the 'gorgeous hunk doctor' on Doctor Phil? I started skimming through that article on Dr. Phil's web page (I haven't read the book yet) and I was so disgusted by how he singled women into categories! I think we are all of them yet none of them, and I don't think being any or none of these women is a bad thing when it comes to finding love. What do you think?

I'd be curious to read that book. I think he has some good ideas but ya, lumping us all into a few categories is pretty harsh. For the most part I agree with the idea of it but would have to read it to get the full picture.

I haven't read this book and I really couldn't get into his book on dating. The one that really worked for me was "Life Strategies." It helped me take the leap from hopeful writer to published author.
As for my personal life, what worked for me was taking a year and a half off dating. The only person I dated was myself. Yes, I was the woman who would go out to dinner by herself or to a movie or a musuem. Once I felt comfortable with my own company, I was ready to be with someone. And then he walked into my senior history thesis class and that was that!
