Hanging up?

Ok ladies so here is a question, have you ever had someone hang up on you just because a discussion gets heated? Is there EVER any excuse for someone to slam down a phone in your ear when they were the ones yelling without giving you a chance to respond? I personally think it is disrespectful no matter how angry someone is. Any opinions?

Unacceptable and childish

That sort of thing really infuriates me. It's that person's way of having the last word. I wouldn't take their call when they call back to appologize so they have some time to regret their childish ways.

Then when you're both totally calm, they'll probably appologize and you can patch things up.

It's immature. I'm sure they will regret it later, and apologize. Sometimes when we're angry, we can do really stupid things.

not acceptable

Yes I agree that it is unacceptable and childish. I don't plan on trying to contact that person again, if the person calls back, I will hear the person out and see...after I have cooled down. I agree people say or do stupid things when angry, maybe this is just one of those things I find unacceptable. I just needed to hear other people's opinions since I am infuriated and don't know if I am thinking straight with regards to this situation.
