Since ChickAdvisor is all about helping each other out, I was wondering if we could all share with each other some different tutorials!
Aside from the popular make-up tutorials and recipes, what other topics would you guys be interested in seeing or sharing? It can be something general, or seasonal.
For example, I love scarves (as people around the office @ the CA HQ probably know by now!), and I was thinking about posting some different looks you can create with your scarf.
Share your ideas! :)

I have wanted to make my own jewelry since forever but every time I'm in the craft store I chicken out. Bren, any ideas on how to get started? I want to do something a little more complex than simply stringing beads on a loop. For example: what 2 or 3 tools are must have for that kind of project? I don't want to invest in 10 different kinds of pliers and doodads. Also, where is the best place to find quality beads/materials? Is AC Moore or Michael's a good source?

I used to make jewelry all the time I tried everything with wire, hemp, indian glass you name it its edless what you can make.I have tons of how to books but also always get tons of DIY from the library as well. You can also check out youtube for step by step and that way you can get a idea of exactly what you want to make.My favorite has always been just a plain chain of different colors of indian glass. Also earrings made from headpins.I have heard of Micheals but not the other store.Any low cost craft store/bead store is good.I always got my supplies at Beadworks. You can also check out ebay.We have a store here now called Dollarama that has a huge section of crafting items you can check that out as well.Tools that are a must are:
-Flat nose pliers(all these are the small jewlery ones)
-Round nose pliers
Headpins(for earrings and you rotate the loops around the beads)
Jewelery wire(I used to always get one called tiger eye wire)
Clamping beads(small beads that clamp down with the flat pliers to keep beads in place)
The thing is its extremely easy! The designs are endless and you can make some unique jewelery. It is so hard to try explain the techniques without actually showing pictures or showing the techniques thats why youd get a good idea by checking out youtube just type in jewlery making.
