If you have ever traveled in Canada, you will quickly realize that hotels here are expensive. My spouse and I travel every year to the US and my favorite hotel chain is Motel 6. It's not fancy, just the basics, but a very affordable option with rooms as low as $34/night! When we travel we are almost never in our room except to sleep, so therefore there isn't any point to pay high prices for luxury...I like to use my funding for dining out, seeing the sights, etc while traveling. Motel 6 has such affordable rates, you can spend more money doing the things you want to do and less money on sleep arrangements. If you spend a lot of time in your hotel and you want all the spa luxury and room service, then Motel 6 is not for you. That being said...for those who are looking for a budget hotel Motel 6 is fabulous! I have stayed at various locations in Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah and have never had a bad experience.
Their motto: We'll leave the light on for you...They always have someone to check you in no matter what time of day or night - great when you are on road trips and show up at 2am...
Tip: book online for best rates!
Thumbs up Motel 6!
