Hi ya'll. I posted some photos of the memorial of 9/11 on my gallery and the Space Needle and Statue of Liberty if any of you want to look at it. My sister and nephew went a while back and Louisa on here wanted to see them. I will try and post others. My sister said that breakfast for her, her husband and her son was over $50!! All they ordered was bacon and eggs. She said for the remainder of the weekend, they ate at Subway!! She brought me back a beautiful drinking glass and that thing was $15! I wouldn't have paid it. I would like some of you to post photos in this forum of places you have been or family has. I would love to see them. I live in the US. Thanks-Ginger

My friend went to New York once and couldn't believe how expensive some things were. The story that stuck with me the most is that she wanted to buy a bottle of water and she paid close to 8 dollars for it! I think it also depends on which part of town you're in. It probably gets more expensive near tourist areas like Times Square.

If your a tourist then you wouldn't know where to look but yes it's expensive! There are all kinds of price points options and really awesome bargains. You have to search and hunt if your a tourist though.
