NYC this month!

Alana Stirling

Hey everyone! I am a newbie here so thought I would post a topic..

I am off to NYC this month for the first time! It’s a dream of mine to go so I am extremely excited.

Anyone have recommendations for our trip?

Thanks in advance!

Definitely check out a broadway show! It's a must when visiting NYC. There are some great restaurants there as well. If you really want to treat yourself, go to TAO or Lavo. If you love cheesecake, go to Junior's Restaurant and Bakery. Best cheesecake I've ever had. You could also see if you could score tickets to one of the talk shows there like Jimmy Fallon.

Absolutely love NY !!

We left it a bit last minute.....
We stayed at the Hilton Midtown.
It was in a great position, walking distance to time square and the Rockefeller centre.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as my boys wanted to experience NYC Diners 🙈
Only thing we pre booked was Empire State Building.

I would suggest you book early if you wanted to eat at the Rockefeller cafe
Or even have breakfast there but they said you needed to book 3 months in advance🙈
Big bus tour was fab... book that when you are there as you can negotiate the price..... we paid $210.00 dollars for 3 days for 5 of us ..... great mode of transport to get around..... boys loved the night tour.... included was the tour of the Statue of Liberty.
We loved the hotel Peninsula ( where we had Christmas Day lunch.

Loved little Italy and China town too
Hope you have lots of fun !!

Lots of fun! I recommend touring Central Park, and doing top of the rock and one world observatory. The 9/11 museum as well is a must see. We purchased a touring pass when we went. Unlimited attractions over a set number of dates. May want to check that out. Here is a link to the one we purchased! We bought ours from groupon. Link also below if you prefer to purchase there.
