Castor Oil for longer lashes?

Has anyone ever tried Castor oil to grow their lashes? What were the results and how long did it take?

Does that actually work?

I've heard of various products that are supposed to grow your lashes but I'm super skeptical of it. I'm pretty sure hair and lash growth has more to do genetics and what is going on with your body than anything that can be applied topically.

Has anyone had measurable success with anything?
