Dry face

Hello to all you beautiful people out there. This girl here needs so advice on some skin care. Lately my face has been absolutely dry... and I’ve tried everything that I could think of and nothing’s seems to be working for me. Any recommendations?

Which moisturizer do you use? I started using First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream intense hydration and it helped me big time.

I exfoliate twice weekly, use a milk cleanser cause its gentle and moisturizing. I also love that most milk face cleansers can take off makeup as well. I use a serum along with a daily cream for the day and a thicker heavier moisturizer for the night. I have recently started using a sleeping pack as a new step to my routine. For my body I have been using a body oil. Let that sink in and then apply a moisturizing lotion. I'm not sure what you have already tried but that is my routine for keeping my skin soft and smooth.

I make sure to clean my face 2x a day, and to also use a moisturizer 2x a day. I love anything Aveeno or Cetaphil. In addition, I have noticed a stark difference in my skin from using the Mario Badescu Rose water spray!

Is it in patches?

Is the dryness in patches that don't seem to go? I've always had combination, sensitive skin. But have had a few dry/red patches over the past year around my nose and upper chin. After trying EVERYTHING for months I went to the doctor and found out I have a type of Rosacea. I now have a cream (Rosiver) that I apply every night - it has helped immensely with the dryness and redness. If they are dry patches in the same spot - I'd definitely recommend seeing a doctor!

Dry Skin

I totally suffer dry skin on my face as well! It's been bad this year. I suggest trying Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Nourishing Moisturizer Oil Free With Broad Spectrum Spf 30. You can get it at Walmart for under $10! It is all natural, works amazingly and is oil free with built in SPF!

Thanks for all this advice! I have the same thing where my skin is really dry and I find most creams don't work. I'll have to give some of these a go.

To wash my face I use I use Skyn Iceland that has white willow bark and doesn’t strip off moisture. Then St.Ives Apricot scrub. It has crushed up walnut shells rather than microbeads. St. Ives does have less abrasive ones- not that the apricot scrub is abrasive, but if you have super sensitive skin it could maybe irritate. Then I use Bella Aura Skin Care Night Cellular Renewal cream. In the morning I use a gel cream like Drink of H20 by Tarte
