I've used the same brand of foundation for 2 years now (urban decay) and was looking for suggestions either high end or drugstore :)

Estée Lauder

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Matte Foundation (at Sephora) is my holy grail! It looks so amazing on my skin and hides all my blemishes and acne. I pair it with the Becca Pore Perfecting Primer and I constantly get compliments on my “flawless” skin - little does anyone know it’s far from flawless. I have red patches, scars and discolouration. I highly recommend!

What skin type do you have, and are you looking for a particular type of coverage or finish?

Foundations

I've been using covergirl clean liquid foundation for like ever. It's really affordable and offers it for oily skin, sensitive skin and normal skin. I like it because it's light and lasts fairly well. I'm trying to look for a buildable foundation though that offers a bit more coverage but for daily use I really like it.

:)

- @alexfranchuk I purchased the foundation when the sale was going on and I love it and the coverage! Thanks for the recommendation.
- @xoliana I have combination skin and usually looking for a medium to full coverage, sometimes I use lightweight foundations as well.
-@Sydneyfaith_r I've heard of that foundation and it has positive reviews too, hopefully when I'm in the drugstore sometime I can swatch it.

Looking for light-medium coverage

Can anyone suggest a light-medium coverage from the drugstore? I have dry to normal skin. I wear a lot of full coverage foundations but I find myself wanting to, more and more, now a days to wear a less coverage foundation. I like the dewy, radiant look. I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks in advance!

I too prefer a dewy radiant finish and my recommendation from the drugstore would definitely be the Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation. It seems to be the best I've found from the drugstore at smoothing everything out without getting cakey and leaves a nice glow to the skin. I also really like the applicator, which is a nice big doe foot, (kinda like the Clinique foundation).

Thank you! I will definitely check them out! I had some issues with shade ranges when they launched. Only because they didn’t have any tested available near me. But I’ll really craving something more of a natural coverage!

I hear you on the shade selection with Physicians Formula! I had to guess my shade and I happened to get lucky, as there weren't testers near me either... Have you tried L'Oreal Pro glow? That's another great one from the drugstore that's lighter. For high-end , so far Estee Lauder Double Wear light is my favorite. Do you have any primer recommendations? I haven't found one that I can't live without yet...🙂

I love the pro Matte, again comes down to shade range. I have problems with oxidization. So I might just be SOL! I use the Vichy Mineral 89 as a primer. It’s a higher price tag BUT it’s all natural ingredients and has HA in it, helps plump the face (to refuse fine lines - in my case!) also it’s nice and tacky so your makeup sticks to it and lasts all day! I figured if I’m buying primers from Sephora, I might as well buy a primer with good ingredients for the same price... lol
