I had it done, It only lasted a week and half for me. It really depends on how much washing you do as to how long it lasts.

Not me, but I have friends who have. It depends on the type of henna paste they use. Typically it's really strong for about a week, and then starts to fade after that. But can stay for up to 4 weeks.

Sandra- On the skin! I didn't know it could also work on the hair.
I would like to try it but I am getting married in June so I think I will try it after that just to be on the safe side.

Usually it gets drawn on you and you have to wait until it dries. I usually leave it in longer than your supposed to. I find it stays fresh looking longer. Then when you wash it off and you a temporary tattoo looking design. It's usually like a deep dark brown. Depends on your skin and then after a week it starts to fade looking kinda an orangy colour and then it will completely fade away. It usually lasts a week and a half to two weeks.

I get henna done quite a lot....here are my tips:
1) wait until it dries completely before you wash it off, sometimes depending on the brand it just flakes off
2) to make it last longer and for a deeper color (the Indian folk tale is the darker it is the more your mother in law will respect and love you), you want to soak a cotton ball with lemon juice and apply that every half hour on the henna. I had mine last for a month doing that.
3) if you are doing it yourself follow the mixing instructions exactly and don't apply too thick.

I think Henna is so beautiful . I would love to get it done . My ex and I bought his daughter an at home set and she loved it .
