Winter skincare routine

Hey beauties, how do you change up your skincare routine for winter?

I add a heavier moisturizer and eye cream and start back with my peels.

What do you do?

Winter is face mask season for me.

Lots of hydration is the key!

I hydrate my skin with moisturizing serum day and night. A nice lip balm is a must to avoid those happy lips. I would recommend laneige lip mask for that. It's really good one!

Proper Moisturizing

Usually, I'm not a person having a proper skincare routine. But as the winter season comes, my facial skin turns out to be very dry. To avoid such a bad scenario, I start with a dermatologically preferred moisturizing cream for face that can hold moisture for a long time during the winter season. Now I'm using Cetaphil moisturizing cream for face (https://www.cetaphil-me.com/en/product/cetaphil-uvauvb-defense-spf-50) and it is working good. Not yet started with any other skincare products and routines :)

Lots of moisture

I switch to night mask and creams instead of serums and good old fashion steaming my face 😊

I'm thankful I don't have dry skin so I keep doing what I have been.

winter skin care

I find my hair is always very dry in winter. Aside from applying my lotion I apply a thin dab of vaseline on my face at bedtime. I never leave the house in winter unless I put it on my lips also because I hate dry lips

Winter care

I use tons of oils and serums! I find my skin gets so dehydrated and an oil based serum lasts all day, even under my foundation! its the best really!

winter care

I generally use face masks twice a week, a moisturizing cream for body and serum for the hair to keep it healthy at all times

Winter Skincare

1. I always invest in a cream or moisturiser for everywhere that is slightly thicker then existing moisture creams, Nivia Creme has been a firm family favourite for many years and replenishes lost moisture, softens and keeps dry patches at bay.

2. Do not ovrlook SPF because the winter sun can peep rays through clouds. Still use factor 15 to 30 0n the face and hands at least.

3. Hands and Lips - these 2 places can really bear the bruntt of winter, so invest in a good hand cream and lip balm. I use DUIT Tough Hands For Her and Dr Paw Paw do some amazing tinted lip balms.
