Hair Question

Ladies what is your daily hair routine? I just use Moroccan oil so the frizzies go away but it is so limp and boring every day! I used to curl it but now I can't get curls to stay in my hair!

I usually just straighten my hair everyday. Nothing new, nothing different, just plain boring :P

Me too!

I found that my hair didn't want to stay curled either so I started putting rollers in my hair before bed and found that this stayed a lot longer than traditional curling. It also cuts back on time getting ready in the morning. I think that maybe the Moroccan oil could be contributing to the curls not wanting to stay in and that hair usually curls better on days that you don't wash your hair.

I have a simple Bob hair cut so all I do is comb it and I'm good to go

I wash, dry and use the straightener. Got lots cut off in December so it's quicker!

I just brush it. Whoops. I can't afford a haircut right now so anytime I go out I wear hats. Thank goodness for Montreal winter!

I just straighten it or use hot rollers to curl em but mostly end up in a pony tail cause nothing stays either

Don't Judge just Yet

So this is a little more then just my daily, but I have found my monthly routine makes my daily routine much much easier!
I only wash my hair three to four times a month, and I do not use regular everyday shampoo or conditioner. I have very thin, long hair which I find can get weighed down a lot with products. I wash with a paraben and sulfate free shampoo two weeks out of the month (usually the first and the last), I use a clarifying shampoo once a month and also a purple shampoo once a month since my hair is naturally blonde and it does get dull. Between washes I use Batiste Dry shampoo in floral (this is my favourite) and I go through about a bottle every week - two weeks. I also have a root volumizing powder (bed head) I put it in when not using dry shampoo to give my roots a little volume. I find the dry shampoo helps A LOT in styling and keeping a nice style and volume. Last but not least, always condition! no matter! what but only condition the ends of your hair (midshaft to ends) or else it will weigh you down. I also deep condition once a month with Coconut oil and I put Moroccan oil in the ends daily to keep it fresh and frizz free :)

I also keep my hair down usually right after wash, for about two days then I will style it back and then put it up if I find it getting a little greasy. Also my hair rarely gets greasy anymore since it is now used to the lack of washing it and I find my hair has never been so healthy! Trust me if you do this long enough your hair will adapt and you will find you can go even long between washes. I also always wash before a big event or night out and if one day I feel a little greasier then usual I will rinse my hair with luke warm water :)

hopefully that is helpful! I know its a lot but it makes styling my thin hair (which can get limp and boring) a lot nicer and easier!!

I pretty much wash and go on daily basis..I sometimes use my hair straightner on the weekends when I go out

brush it and throw it up in a bun. I'm between lengths right now, so now amount of styling helps. I can't wait for it to grow just a little more so I can start styling it again.

I only wash my hair every three to four days, to allow natural oils to repair damage and strengthen the health of my hair. I use salon-quality, all natural Moroccan and Argan oil infused shampoo and conditioner, and blow dry with a vented, round brush - blowing on a downward angle, never direct! I do a lot to my hair, depending on the day - brushing, teasing, dying, straightening, curling - so I try to use restorative cremes on my ends in the morning, too... just to smooth my look for the day. I have a great one from Sally that I started using a few years ago when I fried my hair entirely while bleaching from black! (Ugh!) I only use flat, bamboo or natural fiber brushes, too. They really change the glossiness and texture of your hair!

Some days, it's just up in a bun, and off to work like the rest of you ladies!
