I used to

I used to but got tired of people making fun of people wearing them in public on facebook etc so I stopped. It's pretty lame though I don't see why it matters as long as you are wearing pants why does it matter what kind they are? I'd rather be warm and comfy running errands than wearing tight pants that hurt my stomach :(

it just looks lazy. I get the comfort thing...maybe a great pair of yoga pants or sweats could feel as comfy. TBH when I see people in pjs I wonder if they are clean...too tired to change into day clothes, I doubt you showered. It's wrong to judge, I know, just being honest about what I'm thinking inside.

Shopping in your PJ's

I too, have seen many people shopping in their pj's. It is more women I see doing that. I don't do it, I put on a pair of sweat pants and a comfy t-shirt. I honestly can't see myself wearing my night clothes to go shopping. Where I live, I've seen women wear their house shoes with their pj's while shopping. I have to be honest and hope I don't offend anyone saying this, but to me some of the one's I have seen are dirty looking. By that I mean, their pj's are all stained and their hair hasn't even been brushed. The hair on some looks like a bunch of little snakes coming out of their heads, since they have it up in a barrette on top of their heads. Some that I've seen are also clean looking and well kept in their appearance. I have seen both, and I honestly know I would never do it. To each his own I guess. Ginger

I don't believe ever having seen anyone dress like this while I've been shopping. Sweatpants yes, but pyjamas would have people doing double takes where I live. It's just not something we're used to seeing or wearing in public for that matter.

I have seen many women and men shopping in their PJs. Not for me! To each their own..I suppose!

Not for me

As you all pointed out, it's really nobody's business what everyone wears as long as it's decent (i.e. not too much skin, no profane images/text, etc). In the end, lots of pyjamas are probably more appropriate wear than a lot of shirts (and I use that term lightly at times!), skirts, hotpants, etc I see others wearing.

I just happen to think it's a little much. Most of us have regular day clothing that's comfy enough so there's rarely an excuse. I don't mind pj pants on occasion, but I have seen someone shop in their bathrobe. It was just after the morning school rush, so it was probably just a mom who had dropped her kids off at school and had to run in for a jug of milk but come on! I for one would be too embarrassed to do that unless it was some sort of emergency.

Just my opinion :)

Sorry for my spelling I really try to re-read everything I post instead of (the) I meant they. But I really do own lounger pants that you would never know are pajamas and I totally agree that I would never go out in a housecoat or with curlers in my hair lol. I always try to look my best at all times you never know who you might run in too.

I have lounge pajama's too chrissyann. They do look like regular pants. What I can't stand is seeing a guy with his pants down to his bum and letting the world see his undies and part of his bum!! I don't know if you have seen it in your area, but it is common here with the younger guys. I don't need to see his undies or his bum. I've even told 1 to pull his pants up at Walmart, his pants was so far down in the back, almost to his bum crack! Yuck! He got smart with me and I told him if I wanted to see a plumber that I would call Roto-Rooter!! He got so mad, but I didn't care. That is just nonsense.
