Waist trainers

Have any of you lovely chicks tried a waist trainer? If so, where did you get it and did you get results? I tried one from the as seen on TV stores but it was made in China and the sizing is wayyy off. An XL would fit a Barbie.
I have lots of corsets but this is something I really want to try! !!

Lil Mama you are beautiful and that Barbie waistline those suggest that you attain to are unnatural and unrealistic not to mention may cause internal organ damage, destruction that can be fatal. Not to mention that real woman have curves and hips and that what real men really want. Young ladies please don't buy the hype. A woman confidence thats alluring and can reach and walk into a room often before she does. Its in your walk, talk, poise stance and conversation. Be more than your bust to waist to hip ratio.

I have seen them, but personally would never wear one, they do not look comfortable, they look kind of suffocating .

I cannot seeing them being very healthy to try either.. Squeezing everything in so tightly just cannot be healthy on your insides.. Natural curves are way sexier then those altered by plastic surgery...waiste trainers and so on.. Imo

I actually asked my doctor about those, and in the long run its not healthy at all for your body.
It dis forms the insides, all the organs in that area become squished together and can tangle your organs causing less flows from them. It also dis forms your bones slowly.
It sounds and looks like a good idea, but the effects of it are actually horrifying, un natural to yourself and your body and causing harm to yourself.
Everyone is beautiful they way the are! If you want a stomach wrap, you can use that and it just has a slimming tummy effect and helps slim just your tummy area. No dis forming bones or organs!

I have

I am currently using one and I love it. I have bought an expensive one before that cost almost $200 and the XL like you said will only fit a barbie doll. My current bran is awesome and I got a size L which fits perfectly.

Thanks for the info. What I'm actually looking for is not something that's going to squish my insides but a slimming product for my baby belly and support for my back. I need one that is long enough in the front to cover the lower tummy / upper pelvic area. I have tried corsets as well as a multitude of back supports and pelvic supports sold in Healthcare stores / physio offices but they're either not long enough or they ride up when I'm sitting down. My intent is not to have a tiny waist but to help with these medical conditions. My last baby was 10lb 6oz and after 18.5 hours of labor I needed an emergency csection because he was stuck. From that pregnancy I had a separated pelvis and permanent numbness in my tummy from the csection. The back support I need is from a previous injury. So maybe I didn't explain myself well enough. The product I tried at the as seen on TV store was long enough to provide back support and lower tummy /upper pelvic support and was made out of a snug but adjustable material - the sizes run extremely small so I couldn't find one in my size. The product was called a waist cincher but it's not the kind let's say the Kardashians are famous for using to have a tiny waist. Does that provide a bit more clarity in terms of what I need? ☺

Of course I would also like the benefit of a flatter tummy which is why I asked if anyone had good results - not squishing your insides :)

I bought and tried it, and honestly it's not for me. It's so restricting, and probably not the healthiest thing for our bodies.
