Try Swagbucks

I really like Swagbucks. You can easily earn a decent amount of gift cards for Amazon (Canada or US) or tons of other places. If you have the patience to watch some videos or do some surveys, the points add up pretty quick.

GlobalTestMarket

Global Test Market is also an ok site for answering surveys to earn points. The points don't add up as quickly as on Swagbucks (you often get screened out of surveys) but there are some good rewards like PayPal and Amazon gift cards.

.

There are a lot of good survey sites out there, however, surveys and questionnaires are more of an active income because it does take time and effort on your part, unless you share your referral link, then, yes, this can turn into passive income. Otherwise, you can try creating a blog, offering some type of online course, getting into affiliate marketing or maybe making Youtube videos. Then you can regenerate income over and over again doing the bulk of the work only once. There are lots of great Youtube videos out there explaining all of it.

Nothing Passive About Passive Income

You have to set up your engine before it's self-running. I'm also exploring similar options which, as the name suggests, can fuel itself once your product is self-sufficient.

@PrettyRainbow's comment is spot on: active versus passive requires time and effort both.

I'm even questioning whether the opportunity remains as strong as it did ~15yrs ago when the build-up in our generation was laid out. That is, lots of blog sites and bloggers rave and praise the outcome; few will tell you, however, that the make-it-or-break-it isn't as simple and glamorous as those successful bloggers claim. Like any brick/mortar business, it takes effort. So, invest the time and - like any seed - nurture it to grow. I'm doing the same.

Awesome

Thanks everyone for all the advice. Some grateful for the response

Just to reiterate, when I say passive I actually do mean something asides my career, that might even turn out to be my main source of income. And trust me, I will definitely put in the work.

I really appreciate your responses. I am currently looking into some ideas at the moment. I pray a few of them work out.

Thank you all again

Huh

If it's too good to be true, it usually is.
Be very cautious, there are people out there just looking to take advantage of people in their quest for the all-mighty dollar

Swagbucks

All my thousands in gift cards since 2012 come from Swagbucks, mainly doing surveys. You can't really rack up the bucks on anything else. They do have many ways to earn, but surveys remain the # 1 biggest payout. I agree that's it's not really passive though, you're actively "working", answering surveys takes time. You have to be consistent with it too, constantly try.
Here's my referral if you want to check it out:
