EmiliaAnne.I used to do a lot of adult colouring books (when I worked at a high-stress call centre, I would colour while the customer on the phone was screaming at me lol - it really helped). I also used to crochet quite a bit too, it just took my mind off whatever was going on.
Breathing techniques are important too. If I was mid-panic attack, I would focus on my breathing. In slowly through the nose, hold for 2 seconds, out really slowly through the mouth.
