Tips for moving

Me and my boyfriend have been thinking about moving for awhile now but it's just so stressful haha this will be the second place we will be  moving to together and I was wondering if you ladies have any tips about what to look for and what not, our current place is great and so is the landlord just a little to small ! Also any organization tips would be great!

If you're moving into an apartment Building , I would ask other tenants about bedbugs , etc . Landlords aren't usually Honest about that . I know someone who moved into a place with bedbugs and the landlord didn't tell them . They moved the following week and had to get rid of all their belongings :(

That would suck ! But no we are planning on renting a house :) so hopefully no worries there !

Good luck ! Make sure s every box is labeled because that definitely saves time

If you're moving to a place nearby you can save yourself time and effort by looping a belt through the centre hole part of your hangers and securing, then scoop the clothes from the bottom into a large garbage bag and tie just under the top (hook park) of the hangers. When you get to your new place you can just hang the group of hangers on the rod, untie the bag, release the belt and you're set!

You can also usually get free boxes for packing from grocery stores!

Packing tip

I have moved a lot in the last year and my tip for you is when packing dishes pack them in plastic grocery bags, this save you from washing them when un packed a as well if it breaks it's all in the bag. I have never broken a dish this way.

I was stressed moving to a new place but I was fortunate enough that I got my new apartment 1 month early and was able to slowly bring my stuff over every other day.
All my clothes remained on the hangers and I placed them in a large garbage bag, made it so much easier to transfer them to the closet. Fragile dishes were wrapped in newspapers and not a single dish broke! I didn’t really label my boxes but you should so you know what’s in the boxes. I only labeled them if it was something fragile.
