18 Month old Bad Ezcema

This post is for all the mamas on this site. 

Ok so, my 18 month old daughter has had really bad eczema ever since she was born and I've tried so many different creams/lotions to help relieve the itching but literally NOTHING seems to work. Any recommendations? 

Also, I already have a prescription for the hydrocortisone cream from her doctor but I was told not to use it too much because it can thin the skin I think.

Hi, I hope this works for you, my daughter had eczema behind her leg and bought this product, it was the first thing I bought and it’s gone, in 3 days it mostly gone.

My heart goes out, I had eczema since I was about 2 and through out my adulthood. It wasn't until I saw a dermatoligist that I got it under control. I found bathing and then immediately lathering on the prescribed cortisone and then cera- ve really helped. I found there was a noticible difference.It is non oily and very moisturizing. Then wearing a long sleeved long tights. Hope this helps

When my son was a baby he had pretty bad eczema. I would bathe him in Aveeno Colloidal Oatmeal and wash him with Aveeno bar soap. I also used Aveeno Anti Itch cream along with glaxal base as a barrier. I also had the hydrocortisone but rarely ever used it. Now they probably have so much better eczema products but he is a grown man now and has outgrown it thankfully.
