Morning Sickness


Hey ladies! 

Does anyone have any home remedies to combat morning sickness? I am almost 12 weeks and friends/family/doctors say that it should be subsiding shortly, but I feel as though it is getting worse unfortunately. I am on pills from the doctor but they don't seem to be helping. Any advice/tips would be appreciated!

I was told to drink a pint of milk when i started feeling sickly with my morning sickness. It worked for me, it may not work for you but its worth a try. Hope it works for you xx

All day sickness

With my son a few crackers tamed it but with my girls nothing tamed it for me not even the meds they offered! I learnt to eat with small bites and light foods and whatever sounded appetizing at the time ..strangely enough pizza, thna sandwiches and popsicles!

Congratulations! I just had my last baby. Now I have four beautiful kids. One is 20, one is 2, the other is 4 and my new little man is 10 weeks old. What worked for me when I was pregnant was to eat a little something as soon as I felt nauseated. I told my doctor it's funny everyone I know don't/didn't want to eat while they were nauseous during pregnancy and I feel that if I eat right away it helps with the nausea. He said it helps keep the sugars up. If I didn't end up eatting right away I would end up puking. It worked for 3 of my 4 pregnancies. I had 4 healthy pregnancies, I was very active and healthy and even this pregnancy being 40 didn't have any complications whatsoever. Three of my four babies were natural births which I was overly proud of. All the best I wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy and labour.

First of all, congratulations!! I was really sick for my pregnancies, especially with my daughter. I was on medication too, but it didn't help much. The only thing that made me feel better was time. By around 18-20 weeks I started to feel much better. You are almost past the hardest part. Many moms only feel terrible for the first 3-4 months and then it goes away. You can do this!
