I need to exercise!


I struggle with pain and can't really get motivated to go to a gym. So I bought a yoga mat, I have CD's. I bought an elliptical Trainer and a bowflex. All 3 are in my living room about 10 feet from me. I know I would feel better getting on them but they seem so far away. I need to exercise!  lol  :)

i need to walk and winter is my downfall too much ice, snow and cold out there! I also have a bike and a gazelle in my spare room, no motivation and lots of candy in the house so that doesn't help!

I hear ya! I need to find motivation in the worst way! I did so well in January and was down 9.5lbs. February was an entirely different story....

I agree with you completely, I've gained more weight this winter than ever before and I don't feel like myself at all. Once I commit though I always stick with it.

I feel your pain! I struggled motivation too, I had every excuse in the book why I would exercise later! What helped a lot was my wonderful husband who encouraged me and exercised with me! After the first week or so you will be amazed at how much better you feel, your energy levels will continually increase! Most important of all.....eat frequently and healthy! You can do this you have already made the first step by getting all your equipment and telling yourself you need to do it! It will get better! Good luck to you!

I bought all kinds of equipment and outfits in hope to inspire me to get in shape. I truly lack motivation and energy to get the ball rolling

I have all the equipment but I find that I can not be motivated if I'm home. I need to get out of the house as well so I joined a gym, pay for it and just go. I don't let myself make excuses. I don't let myself turn on the tv or sit down, I just put on my gym clothes and go! If you could just exercise for 30 mins or more even once, think of how you feel after the exercise. I hold on to that thought for motivation.

Also for some reason, I find jumping on the scale every day is very discouraging. I try not to weight myself all that often. I just go base on how good it makes me feel. Yes, I slim down, not sure about weight wise, but size wise. :)

I feel you. Its getting back into a routine for me. I've been paying for the gym and haven't been in over a year. So bad. I know I want it.. Need to get back into a routine

An advice our gym trainer gives us is, invite a friend over, and so both of you will motivate each other to work out
