Summer holiday and day trip ideas with a 2 year old (Manitoba)

Looking for some summer holiday and also day trip ideas for my family and I.  We have a 2 year old and live in southern Manitoba.  We love the outdoors, don't mind long car rides and like to be the touristy type.  Any suggestions would be great.  Thanks!

Try visiting a national park in your area or a historic location those are always so interesting and beautiful!

Yes, I agree with Hunty. national parks are great. A zoo if you have young children. They will enjoy that.
