I received this product to try. I decided to only replace one meal. After two days, I felt very light-headed and couldn't function. After that, I stopped using the bars. Using this as a healthy, filling snack I could do, but replacing a meal? No. There aren't enough calories and it doesn't leave you feeling full.

I'm a pretty active and busy woman. Besides a full time job, I play on four sports teams and run a sports league AND work with a cat rescue group. I'm on the go constantly so I normally have a protein or energy bar ot two stowed away in my bag for times when I can't grab a meal on the go.

I wanted to like Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars. I really did...but no. I've definitely had worse but I've had way more that are much, much better. They are bland and not tasty and just leave me wanting to drink a lot of water to get the taste out of my mouth. I'll probably eat all the ones that were sent but more out of desperation and hunger than wanting to eat something tasty.

These were an okay bar, it felt like eating a chocolate treat full of unhealthiness. Unfortunately it did not work for weight management due to the high carbs.

I received a free trial box (5 bars) of this Nutriforme bar to test and review. To be honest up front, I am not a fan of really rich fudge products to start with, so maybe it would have been better if I could have sampled one of the other flavours.
These bars are supposed to be a meal replacement, and with 15 g protein and only 270 calories, help promote weight loss. The bars are a good size and fairly heavy, so does seem like it would be satisfying - not just a little light wafer, like some other bars.
Unfortunately they were much too rich for my taste. I could not eat an entire bar in one sitting, had to break it up in multiple pieces and have as snacks here and there. So it really didn't reduce hunger at all. One was enough for me, I will be giving the rest away. I will not buy it and I won't be trying the other flavours either.

I received the Adrien Gagnon Nutriforme bars as part of the product review club to try and review. I was looking forward to trying this product as a meal replacement nutrition bar would be a great thing if it worked. Unfortunately, I found that these were more of a sweet treat, chocolate bar than a meal replacement. I found that it did not help control my appetite, instead the sweetness just set up an all day craving for more sweets, and kind of defeated the purpose. For the price, they just are not worth it in my opinion.

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The Nutriforme bars packaging claimed that replacing 1 or 2 meals daily with the bars would help reduce the number of ingested calories and promote weight loss. At 260 calories, I feel that it should be more filling. Although it is a fudge bar, it does not have a great taste either. It contains more grams of fat and sodium than I would choose to eat in a regular meal. I prefer the taste and effectiveness of other meal replacement or protein bars. At a price point of $11.49 for a box of five, I would not purchase these again and would not recommend them to friends either.

I am not unfamiliar with meal replacement bars. When I look for bars, I typically choose products with high protein and low sugar content. Firstly, these Adrien Gagnon bars are high in protein which I love. As a vegetarian, I really need it, so that is a plus. Unfortunately, I find these bars too sweet for my palette. I find it impossible to eat an entire bar at once, so I had to split it in half and eat it hours apart so I couldn't really eat them as a real meal replacement. The one day I tried to, I was hungry in a couple hours after eating it. I'm someone who likes eating large amounts of low-calorie, healthy foods, so I think my body just wasn't used to it.
Regarding the flavour, it tastes exactly like other typical soy based protein bar products. To my taste, it's a little bitter with a weird/off-chocolate taste, but I'm used to that with protein bars. Aside from that these bars contain what I'm assuming are rice puffs, which adds a nice crunch.
Overall, I don't think this product is worth it. The taste isn't great, it doesn't keep you full, and the price is outrageous. You'd be better off making your own wholesome, protein bars at home and obtaining your essential nutrients with whole foods.

To be frank, I did not have high expectations as from past experiences, I did not enjoy eating meal replacement bars. I had a look at the nutritional content as well as the ingredients - it appears to be packed with tons of vitamins, minerals and 15g of proteins! Sugar is not on the top of the list which was nice to see. The packaging was visually appealing and easy to open. I tried the bar as my breakfast replacement alongside my avocado mango smoothie - it tasted densely chocolate-ty, a bit crunchy, but unfortunately I did not really like the taste. I found it weird sweet tasting. My smoothie tasted ALOT better and I don't add honey nor sugar to my smoothie! However, it did with my smoothie fill me up for 4 hours. So I figured it's light and not as filling on it's own. Therefore I decided to try on it's own during my next breakfast - I was right it didn't fill me up much. I was hungry 1-2 hours later. I feel that this is more of a snack than an actual meal. I think I'll just stick with my breakfast smoothie!

I received 5 of these from Chick Adviser. I gave two away to get other peoples opinion on the product and kept the rest for myself. It did taste good and was heavy similar to those other meal replacement bars however the after taste was not very good. It does fill you up enough in the morning to keep you going until lunch time. The price of energy bars and meal replacement bars I don't think are reasonable at all, they all seem to be over priced.

Thanks to Chick Advisor I received these as part of the "Product Review Club". I was very excited to receive these to try, but very disappointed when I did. It has positive and negative points. The positive points being that it has vitamins, fibre and protein and can be used as part of a meal replacement. I found it filling. It is 260 calories which isn't much. The negative point is the taste. It tastes very chalky. All I can taste is dark chocolate which is very bitter tasting. It is actually the worst bar that I have ever tried. I would never purchase these. I was glad to have the chance to try before I would buy.
