This is just an average snack bar. I don't believe it is nutritious or healthy after looking at the ingredients. It contains a large amount of sugar than what I would expect to find in healthy supplements. I feel like I'm eating a chocolate bar with more protein. I am a bodybuilder and try my best to eat clean. I do not believe this bar falls into that category as it's too processed. I do not recommend purchasing this for weight loss as I do not believe it would be effective. While it tastes pretty good, an athlete would never eat this.

I received these bars as part of the Product Review club. As far as a meal replacement bar goes, it is fine for taste/fullness, I suppose. Although I find the calories a bit high for this kind of thing. If I were to buy a meal replacement bar it is to tide me over until my next meal in which I can eat an actual meal But I guess I have a general problem with these kind of bars in general. I would much prefer to have a low calorie meal with vegetables that is actually filling than a healthified chocolate bar, which to be honest, right after I eat one I want to eat another immediately.

Looking at their site they are about $3 a bar, kind of pricey considering that doesn't include shipping and you are buying multiples. But I guess most protein bars are on the pricey side.

Meh, not for me. Occasionally (like once a year) I will be in a bind and buy a bar, but it is not ideal and I certainly wouldn't buy boxes of them online.

After putting on significant winter weight, I have made the decision to lose weight and was really looking forward to trying these bars to find out whether they were the right product to assist me in achieving my goal. While normally I love chocolate and fudge, I found the taste of these bars at first bite to be alright but there was an unpleasant after-taste. Also, I found that they gave me nausea and a stomach ache after eating just a couple of bites. I'm not sure what exactly this is attributed to - whether they are too heavy for my stomach or if there is an ingredient(s) that disagree with me. I was really disappointed that the Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars did not agree with me, in taste or with my digestive system, at all and sadly, I will not be purchasing this product in the future.

I received these bars as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. At first, I was excited to receive some new health products to try, as I have been working to lose weight recently. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended.

These bars don't stand out from any other meal replacement bar I have tried, all of which have a strange taste that I can't get out of my mouth. The nutritional values in the bar are also not in line with my meal plan, as there is a lot of sugar and fat.

The look of the product is good, and I like the fact that it's dipped in chocolate (only part I enjoyed).

Overall, I would not buy these or recommend them as I personally did not enjoy them.

I received this from Chick Advisor to product test for my my opinion. First off, the taste of these bars is not too bad as they taste quite similar to a candy bar. Crunchy, sweet and chocolatey.
*But just like candy bars these are FULL of sugar, the second ingredient was sugar! Why would I want a health product to be full of sweeteners, its redundant. This will not be a purchase for me, nor would I recommend it to anyone either.

It is $11.49 for a box of 5 bars. I feel that this is too expensive.

I didn't enjoy the flavor and could only eat half a bar. It was too sweet and rich for me. I gave the rest to my family. My husband loves chocolate but didn't like the taste of the bars. He thought it tasted a little fake. My teens tried a bite and won't eat them.

Wow, I just taste tested the Adrien Gagnon Nutriforme Decadent Fudge Meal Replacement Bars. The following is my personal experience with this product. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing smell. The bar itself looks appetizing. Taste has left something to be desired. My first bite had me thinking I might like this and that it would be a great way to loose weight. I really like the added touch of the crispy bits in the bar, but by my third bite I had my mind made up that this is not a product that I would like to have in my house regularly. I did not like the taste in my mouth after the second bite but decided to give it a fair shot and took a third bite. After the third bite… I do not like how the flavour has coated my tongue and throat. I do not like that it has made my whole mouth extremely dry. I am left desperately wanting a drink. For me this will not help me to loose weight because if I do not like something that I eat I stop eating it a look for something else to eat right away. I have my doubts that this will keep someone full until their next meal time also. I couldn’t finish the bar in fact I wrapped it up and stuck it back in my sample box. Maybe I will pass it on to someone else in my household to see if they like it better than me.
I have never had any other energy/ meal replacement products before this one so I have no basis for comparison.
Personally I would not purchase this product nor would I recommend it to a friend based on my experience.
