Great taste

I received this from Family Rated for review. I am not a huge fan of boxed mac and cheese because usually the cheese tastes really fake. I really liked this one. It was really tasty and not artificially cheesy.
Would definitely buy again!

Kid approved

We received these products and my son’s were very excited to make it. They ate one of the boxes right away and enjoyed it! There wasn’t that much once made. But the flavour was good.

I would stick with the classic KD...

Full disclosure - I never ate mac and cheese like regular people growing up. I don't like the smell of cheese. I used to make the classic KD for kids I babysat when I was younger and very rarely I would sample some KD when someone else was making it as a teen/young adult.

I followed the instructions on the box using a measuring spoon and cup.
I used 2% milk instead of the low fat milk.

I thought it turned out very watery and the mixture didn't seem to stick to the noodles very well, so I removed the noodles and reheated the liquid (butter, milk and cheese powder) to thicken slightly, and then I re-added the noodles.

I would recommend using less milk than instructed and instead of turning off the heat after straining the noodles, leave the burner on low to stir and thicken the cheese liquid mixture before adding the noodles.

TASTE: From what I remember of KD, the cheese flavour was much more pungent than Annie's. Cheese flavour is extremely lacking in this mac & cheese.
I very badly wanted to add herbs and spices - so once I started eating, I added some seasoned bread crumbs for flavour and crunchy texture.

I have never tried any other Annie's products before.
Organic food isn't high on my priority list.
If you're going to make organic mac & cheese, I would assume you would want to use real cheese instead of powder or make the dish from scratch.

The best option for quick boxed mac and cheese would still be the classic KD.

I love the taste of Annie’s... it’s as easy to make as kraft dinner but organic so I feel good about the ingredients. I’m not a huge fan of the price as it’s more than double than a box of KD... otherwise, awesome!

Delicious Classic

This is not your traditional macaroni and cheese, it's the healthy version. The directions on the box are amazing and guarantee consistent results. The pasta was an amazing firm texture and the cheese was fresh and creamy.
This can be bought everywhere and only costs a few cents more than the popular brand.

easy for busy family

me and my husband both work full time, even we always do meal plan at Sundays, there are still some days that we do not have enough energy to cook for the night, and get the take out! I really love Annies's product, and my son love it too, very tasty, and very convenience. just 10 minutes, done, dinner served. help us save a lot of money!
Let us back to the product, the taste is very creamy, very easy to cook, 80% organic ingredients. i like to put some spinish in it, add a little veg, to make it healtier。
for sure, i will purchase this again, it will be the stable at our weekday dinner.

I received a free sample of Annie’s classic cheddar from a chick advisor , I tried the box out , I figure it would taste just like every other boxed mac and cheese out there. I was wrong , I’m impressed . The flavour was delicious and if it weren’t so filling I could have easily had a second bowl. My kids ate it up in seconds . I always have a few boxes of Mac and Cheese( usually whatever cheapest) in my cupboard, for those night when I don’t want to cook , now I definitely would grab Annie’s instead of the cheap stuff.

Creamy and Deslish

I received Annies Classic Mac and Cheese box to review as part of the Family Rated Club. I prepared it for my family for lunch and they loved it! Super creamy and just delicious like classic mac and cheese. I will definitely be purchasing this product again.

Better ingredients but not quite as good as others

Ok. So my family and I got to try this product free. It was pretty tasty overall and my kids gobbled it up. I appreciated the organic ingredients but honestly, if I was going for pure flavour I prefer my regular brand. If you are set on going organic, this is a great product. If you are going for price and purely flavour, then it might not be your best bet. Definitely worth a try! You might prefer it!
