ChickAdvisor provided me with a full-sized box (6.4 kg) of Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter to review. I was excited to try it in my cats' litterbox, as it was a premium brand and we normally purchase more of the middle-of-the-road litter brands.

I have four cats. Two of them regularly use the litterbox that I chose to put all of the Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter into. I dumped out all of the litter that was previously in there and replaced it with the new product. The first thing that I noticed is that it had a fresh scent and the granules are quite fine. The scent took a bit of getting used to, but I did not find it to be overpowering. I anticipated it smelling awful when mixed with cat pee, but it did not. My cats were a little unsure of the scent too. They aren't used to any litters with a distinct scent and I believe they must have found it to be much stronger than I did.

The best thing about this product is how effectively it clumps. You can scoop stuff out with ease and it never crumbles. I could do without the fresh scent, but it did seem to be neutralizing odour at the same time (always a good thing!).

I noticed that my cats were not burying stuff in the litter as much as they normally do. My best guess as to why is, the finer granules more easily stuck in their paws. At times this made the odour sealing feature of this product irrelevant, so the littlebox smelled anyway.

Overall, I would recommend this product if you are willing to spend more to eliminate some of the hassle that comes along with scooping less-than-solid pieces out of the litterbox. I have a strong suspicion that I liked this product more than my cats did, but I think if it became their usual brand, they would get used to it.

I received this product free as part of the Product Review Club.
In my opinion, it is rather expensive, but it works well. Our cat's liter box is located in our mudroom. In the summer when it's hot, the smell can be pretty overwhelming. We found this liter met its' odour-control claims. As a rule, our family is not a fan of scented liter. Most of the fragrances are worse than the smell of the liter box! However, the Arm & Hammer Clump and Seal liter has a scent that is not overly perfumed. It really does keep away the smell of the cat's waste. There was no dust, and the clumping action was great.
If I could afford it, I would definitely make this our normal brand of cat liter.

I have two cats, and I am always worried that the house smells like "cat" no matter how frequently we clean their litter box. I was excited to test out the new Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter to see if it would work as well as the claims.

Arm & Hammer is not my usual brand of litter, but as soon as my coupon arrived I rushed out to grab a box. I had no problems finding the product, and have seen its regularly available at both Walmart and Canadian Tire (my two usual places for buying pet supplies).

I tried out the new litter for a week, and it was alright. The cats used it, but they didn't seem too sure of it at first. After using it for a week, I went back to our regular brand and the cats seemed much happier, so I don't think they liked the Arm & Hammer too much. I personally didn't like the way it smelled, and maybe that was an issue with Eddie and Tux as well. It did clump well, and I did notice a big decrease in the amount of litter tracking so those were definite pluses. The Arm & Hammer is more expensive though, and that would be an over all deciding factor for me. The Arm & Hammer was $12.98 for 9.1 kg, whereas my regular brand is the same price for 14kg. We are on a strict budget, so that loss of 5kg would deter me from purchasing this product again in the future, no matter how well it worked. My regular brand works fine, goes on sale frequently, and has a much better base price.

Over all, I think the new Arm & Hammer litter works well, helps control cat litter smells and definitely clumps up nicely, but it doesn't work any better than the other brands and has a much higher price tag, so its hard for me to recommend it. There are other brands that are the same quality that are much more affordable, and come in a much larger size for those of us with more than one cat.

I received a box of Arm & Hammer Clump & seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter for free in exchange for writing this review. The opinions are my own, and are not influenced in any way.

I was excited to try this kitty litter until I picked up the box, barely enough to use as top up of my large sized litter box ( I have three cats). I rated the A&H;litter as two stars with regards to price as it was far too expensive for a family on a budget to use as their regular litter - 7X more expensive than the effective (and cost effective) litter I buy at Costco).
The quality I gave four stars to, only because one of my kitties has a problem with scented products, but the clumping factor was fantastic!
Effectiveness was definitely six stars out of five, even being used as only a top up, it smothered the stinkies cats seem to be so proud of.
I can see myself buying this occasionally to mix in with my regular litter, and after I win the lottery this will be the only litter I use.
Thank you Arm & Hammer and Chick Advisor for the chance to try a luxury product.

Wow, this stuff REALLY does lock in the smell. I have no idea what they used to make it happen but I love it and this is now Mocha's (cat) and my favourite cat litter brand.

Okay, I have older cats who are totally use to getting their way and this includes an extremely clean litter box at all times.

They are also very, very picky about their litter box and I am never sure if the litter I am using "meets' with their requirements LOL

Fortunately, as soon as I prepared the box and poured the litter, my cats went to their box and did their business happily. This also made me happy as I instantly loved how the litter easily fit in the box with minimal dust (very important to me).

I also love how the box always felt clean because the "clumping" made it extremely easy to "scoop" up and throw out.

The air in my home also never indicated that I had cats (and a litter box) which is also a huge plus when it come to purchasing litter.

Yes, there are a bunch of litters out there and I have bought them all, but this one actually pleased all of us, but especially those who count - my kitty cats LOL

I got the A&H;Clump and Seal litter free as part of the Chick Advisor program. I was looking forward to see how it would work with our two adult cats and their litter box.
It really lived up to its product claims: definitely was low dust, clumping ability was wonderful, low tracking and low odour.
We have been happy with the litter we are currently using, and haven't had a problem at all with dust, tracking or odour. The A&H;performed somewhat better with its clumpability!
I would definitely recommend this litter to anyone with cats, and if I could find it for a price similar to the litter I am using now, I would make it my regular brand. For now, though, the A&H;is a lot more expensive.

Thanks to the ChickAdvisor Review Club, I received a free box of this new litter to try. I have 2 kitties that can really stink the place up at times! Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter has done a great job at absorbing the smellies that my girls leave behind, especially the urine. The texture of the litter is much finer than I've ever seen before and it clumps very nicely. I hate it when a clump falls to little un-scoopable pieces when you're removing it, so that's a big bonus. Keeps the litter box cleaner overall. When I first poured the litter into the box, there did seem to be a bit more dust than my usual brand, but still far better than store brands I've used. I also like that the litter itself doesn't have a strong smell to it...kitties are much more sensitive to smells than we are! Overall, Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter is the best performing litter I've ever used, but the price point is a little high for the amount you get. Hopefully I'll be able to catch it on sale and stock up.

I'm still using Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal and I continue to be impressed by how well it clumps. The smell from the litter box is also significantly lower! I stocked up on several boxes of it when it was on sale, and I have to say I don't think it's really costing me more despite the higher price. Because it clumps and absorbs odor so well the box is staying cleaner overall, so doing a complete dump and change of litter isn't needed as often. Thanks to the Chickadvisor Review Club for including me in this one...this home's kitties and litter box are happier for it!

I received the Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal Cat Litter as part of the product review club.
As someone who shares a basement apartment with two cats, I was very excited to try a litter that claims to minimize dust and prevent odors from spreading throughout the house.

Upon trying the product, I was definitely impressed with the lack of dust. I find that with two cats, I pour litter quite frequently, and the shelves in the spare room where the litter is stored need to be dusted more often than those in the rest of the house.
I was also impressed with the fresh scent and lack of "cat" smell. I felt that the litter did a good job of locking in scents, though to be honest, I feel like the generic store brand that I typically use is no worse at this.
It also clumped slightly better than the brand that I typically use, making scooping/digging slightly less tedious.
Lastly, though I definitely noticed the finer texture, I'm not sure that either of my cats did, which is really what matters.

In general, though I was quite happy with the litter, I'm not certain that it would be worth the extra cost. The lack of dust was nice, but the scent and clumping are only slightly better than my regular litter. I think if I come across this product on sale, I will purchase it again, but I don't see myself paying full price.
