I have had this product for a few weeks now, and I actually had to wrestle it back from a guy friend of mine who works late nights and wanted to see how it would work for his under eye situation!

I found the rollerball application therapeutic, and the scent was pleasant. I didn't notice a huge difference until a week or so in, and I have a bad habit of forgetting to use products, so I kept it with my toothbrush so I'd remember to use it in the morning and at night.

All in all, I would recommend this to friends who are looking for a budget-friendly under eye treatment.

Well, where to start...

I had very high expectations for this product. I use a lot of Avenno products for both myself and my children and LOVE the quality of them. However I would not buy this product

The roll on style is quite easy to use and make applying quite simple. I did like how it felt cool when you applied it, but it was too liquidy for my liking. I LOVED the scent. It smelted so nice and invigorating, it would be nice as a perfume. However, I felt the scent kind of woke me up at the night time use.

I didn't find that using the roller helped with eye puffiness or darkness. In fact, it made my under eyes look a little shiny and puffy, making me look more tired.

All in all, I think this product is TOO expensive for how little results you get. I will use the rest of my roller as a perfume!

I really enjoy this product.
To start it off, the smell is amazing. It light and fruity and has a fresh feel to it (obviously)
The product itself goes on smoothly, but it is very liquid if you apply too much.
My under eye area is very sensitive and fragile, but after using this product for only a week, I have seen improvements in the texture and over all appearance. I would defiantly approve this product and recommend it. It is excellent for anyone who would like to clean up those annoying bags!

I personally love the roller ball style that Aveeno has used, its a nice wide ball so it covers your whole undereye without having to roll roll roll several times. One thing that kind of shocked me, was that it tingled! Although tons of these competitor products I would expect to tingle, I just didnt think Aveenos would since its usually on the more sensitive side (I also use their lotions and baby bum creams which are VERY gentle). But I did enjoy the tingle after awhile as it eases after a few uses.

The scent is refreshing and eye opening in a way, not the same was as peppermint but lighter. It has helped my eyes with puffiness, as I have a natural puff on the outer bottom of each eye. I also have VERY dark under eyes I've been covering up for the last decade, and so far after 5 days of using it I have seen no change yet in that area. But I would still recommend it as it has helped immensely with puffiness!

I applied this product as it said, once in the morning and once before bed. It was very refreshing to wake up with !

Although I want to buy another one so bad, the price is just too high for me to get it very very often. Im thinking of just using it once in the morning so it lasts longer! But I will try the 2 weeks of night and day use, hopefully will see a change in my under eye dark circles!!

I received this product for review from Chickadvisor and was skeptical to tell you the truth. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised! Due to fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome I often have very dark circles under my eyes and swollen eyelids. I had tried many creams but to no avail... To my amazement and joy, this stuff works!! No longer do I have to put on gobs of concealer!

The fast absorbing formula works fast to lessen the appearance of dark purple circles (seriously you can see an immediate difference) and dries into a matte finish, which is much nicer than other products and brands I've used (which can get clumpy or peel off when it dries). This treatment's roller is soothing and cool and the subtle scent is wonderfully refreshing! It's also nice that it's not as fussy as a lotion since you just glide it on with the roller. I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for an under-eye makeover!

I've tried a rollerball before. You kno where to go if you want a refresher. I certainly don't expect you to remember everything I do. I certainly don't.

My rollerball fascination came from this guy I once met. He's a tall drink of handsome and he swears by the rollerball. He called it an instant effective fix. I didn't disagree, but I'm not partial to band-aid solutions. Obviously I didn't tell him that, he's too hot to disagree with, at least face-to-face.

Aveeno has come out with its very own and I got my paws on it on Tuesday.

Much like its predecessors, it's compact and applies easily. The ball surface (i.e. diameter) seems bigger than the other two I've tried (see above and Garnier's). The pen itself is fatter. But that's just aesthetics.

Aveeno took the active ingredient southerwood, as well as vitamins A, C & E, to create a liquid that "depuffs" and moisturizes the eye area. Southerwood extract is reported to have cleansing and protective properties. All together, the formula promises to combat the look of dark circles while infusing the under eye area with a whole lot of goodness.

It certainly smells fresh, but I found that it tingled more than I would have expected from an Aveeno product. My experience with Aveeno is that it's on the gentle and delicate side, but within a few seconds of applying the eye roller, I felt a faint tingling sensation. Fast-forward four days, and the tingling is much less, but still there.

Four days may not be enough time to see visible benefits, and I analyzed my before and after photos for a good ten minutes. But it is enough time to decide if the pros outweigh the nothings. In all fairness, I don't have a serious undereye problem. That said, after four days of consistent use, the benefits weren't tangible enough to make me a fan. It certainly goes some way in speeding up morning depuffing, but I feel the delicate skin under one's eye balls requires more moisture than Aveeno could impart.

My final answer? It's complicated.

Did you party last night and need a quick fix? Get it. It's an easy solution and doesn't use caffeine like Garnier, nor is it as pricey as the Body Shop.

Otherwise...

Are you looking for anti-aging treatments?
Do you have dark, persistent circles?
Do you have sensitive skin?
Are you looking for an all-around eye cream?

If you answered yes to any of these, get a proper eye cream. Not all of life's shortcuts are a good idea.

Thanks to chickadvisor's product review club, I was able to test this great product out free of charge! And even if I had bought it with my own money I would not have regretted it. This product has worked wonders on the dark circles under my eyes, even just after the first use! My circles dramatically lessened and was not as puffy as it was before I applied this product. There is a slight, but pleasant, scent to this product, which i find helps to wake me up in the morning!

I like to apply this product twice a day: once when I wake up in the morning, and again before I head to bed. Dramatic reduction in dark circles and puffy eyes are certain after using this product for a week. I definitely recommend such a product to all the girls out there looking for a product to help with puffy dark eyes. When this bottle runs out, I'm certain to run out to the store to buy another. This product in a must-have essential to all.

I really enjoy the Aveeno Brand, it is the only product I'll use in my skin regimen. I bought this product, Aveeno smart essentials anti-fatigue eye treatment, and i couldnt get enough of it! I have two children under the age of 3 and I feel that i always look tired and have dark circles under my eyes. My undereyes feel much more hydrated and i feel they do look brighter. I would buy this product over and over and over!

When I was receiving my Aveeno Fresh Essentials I was sick .So ...I was having the BIGGEST puffy eyes EVER (with red spots) ! In 3 days of trying the product I could see good results on my eyes.My puffy eyes and dark spots were automaticly disappearing (Really !and I'm not kidding at all )!

Normaly I am not really keeping times to give some care to my eyes and I think I am not the only persons who's forget it.We are always thinking about Hair Care ,Skin Care etc.The Eye Care are often the last one.

The smell of this Eye roller are SO GREAT.I think if Aveeno could do fragrances I will the first one to bough it !
The smell are southernwood and it smell are wonderfull !Good at the morning for helping you to wake up!

The only negative points are in the price. For 20.00$ I found expensive to buy one product who's having a bottle in plastic.I think the product were more goodly conserved if it's an glass bottle ( more pretty for the presentation and more credible).

So ... I still loving my experience with this product and maybe I will bough it in the future !
