Fragrance was too strong for me

I was looking for a nice body wash with exfoliating properties but the fragrance was WAY too flowery and overpowering for me. My skin is the clearest it's ever been since I started using this but don't think I will be purchasing due to the overpowering fragrance.

I received the Aveeno exfoliating body wash through the product review club. I was so excited because I had heard great things about it and am always looking for a gentle but effective body wash Unfortunately this body was really dried out my skin and left my legs flaky and itchy. Not for me.

Not good for sensitive skin

I got this product for free.

This product is not the best for sensitive skin. Now to be fair, it isn’t marketed for sensitive skin but as someone with sensitive skin I wanted others who read this review and are possibly thinking of buying this product to be aware that it isn’t the best for sensitive skin

The reason for this is it is an exfoliate and the beads are a little rough. It is great for getting rid of dead skin and leaves your skin cleaner and smoother.

I would recommend to my friends. I wouldn’t recommend to my family because they all have sensitive skin.

Great as a body wash

I received this body wash free in exchange for my review.
This body wash had a nice light scent and lathered great, leaving my body feeling clean. The exfoliating beads were an added bonus, saving me time while in the shower.

averagely radiant

I feel lie this is a dated product. It is a "gentle exfoliating body wash", however it really is JUST a body wash. The brown scrubby bits wash away faster than I would have liked, so I don't get a good even scrub. They ned to just remove the "exfoliating walnut shell powder", and keep it as a body wash. It does smell great and is rich and creamy which is good.

Nice scent but beads didn’t make a difference

eceived this Aveeno body lotion as part of a Chick Advisor campaign to try. The quality is consistent with the Aveeno brand but the exfoliating beads didn’t make much of a difference. The beads aren’t strong as a scrub and too light in the body wash to make a difference in softening the skin. The scent is still nice, but I would stick to a regular body lotion, or do a separate body scrub that is more intense.

Nice

I received this product for free from chick advisor. It had a great smell in the shower. It felt great on my skin and didn’t leave any weird residue of feeling. It was nice

Exfoliating

This body wash is nice to use whenever your skin needs a little bit of exfoliating. I am not a fan of the scent. It was quite different from the lotion. The scent of this body wash had a tangy, citrus-y scent that I didn't quite like. Other than that, it lathered and cleansed my skin like regular body wash, with the added bonus of removing dead skin cells. I didn't think it was very effective because I used my palms to rub the body wash on me, so most of the exfoliation was focused on my hands instead of my body. This body wash is not my favourite and I would purchase a different kind and use a loofah instead.

No difference

Unfortunately, I am not impressed with this body wash. I have not noticed any difference in the moisture or look of my skin. It seems I get the same results from my body soap. Sorry but this is not for me! I love the lotion though!

It was ok

I received this item for free from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club in exhange for my honest review.

This body wash was ok, I wasn't blown away by it.

The scent was similar to the lotion which I wasn't a huge fan of. The body was did get a good lather and a little went a long way which is great.

It had little walnut pieces in it that were to be exfoliating, which I find did work, it left my skin feeling soft. I really didn't like the feeling of them in my shower though. As I was showering I would feel them under my feet as they rinsed away and it felt like sand in my shower which wasn't very nice.

I'll keep using this body wash but I probably wouldn't buy it for myself in the future.
