Multi-use product

The max glow serum and primer worked well for my dry skin. It leaves my skin hydrated enough but not too much especially just before putting on makeup. It is also great as serum before bed under my night cream. The only reason for not giving full points is the price. I find it a little expensive for an Aveeno product. Otherwise A+

Would use all the time.

I really like this for before I apply makeup. Im getting older and my skin seems so much younger after using this . leaves a fresh healthy base to start your routine.

Great product

I have been using this product for a few days and it is amazing. It really does make your face shine in a natural way . it smells very nice. From looking at the bottle the way the oil is almost seperated from the rest of the liquid i was kind of worried it would make my face really oily but it didnt it was really smooth and soft and my face looked beautiful i cannot wait to try it with makeup next. Aveeno products are great for anyone with skin problem i highly recomend this product. It is abit expensive from what i saw at the store today but you only need a few drops so the bottle will last a while. Another thing that sold me on this product is once you remove the lid the product dispenser only allowes a couple of drops at a time. Which makes it so much nicer.it also the nice refreshed look i got seem to have stayed for atleast a day which other only last an hour or too. I am defenitly satisfied.

Great smell, but left feeling greasy

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club and was very excited to try after reading great reviews! After using it for a week, I was a little disappointed. While it made my skin glow, I found by the end of the day, it made my skin look a little too oily, especially on my forehead. This may not be as big of an issue in the dead of winter as I found the product helped seal in my moisturizer and kept me feeling hydrated all day. I do not normally wear foundation and used the product at the end of my skincare routine (cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and Aveeno MaxGlow Serum + Primer). I will certainly try it on a more heavy makeup day to see if I get the same results. The product had great packaging and allowed you to dispense an appropriate amount with little/no waste. I also really liked the smell!

Not bad

I recieved this product for review for free. How to use, must shake bottle well, I applied with fingers & patted on clean skin. I used this serum/primer on its own without makeup - made my skin soft & a natural glow. I also tried it before applying my makeup didn't feel it did very much with keeping my makeup smooth or lasting long. I liked the scent of this product. Would use this as a serum for my skincare routine but not used a primer. I have combo skin

Keep my face moisturized and ready for the day.

Aveeno Positively Radiant MAXGLOW Serum & Primer is good. It keeps my face moisturized and feeling smooth before apply my make-up.

You have to shake well to use it cause it is '2 phases' if you don't mix them. And the bottle design is kinda bad, everytime I pour it, it would spill. I hope there is a better bottle dispensing design.

Jai recu le maxglow serum+base a tester gratuitement et ce fut une autre belle découverte. Je l'ai utiliser dans ma routine de soin du visage apres le gel micellaire nettoyant et jai apprecier le resultat. Avec un parfum agreable, il donne a la peau une belle texture et cest facile de se maquiller par la suite ou simplement rester au naturel. Javais une crainte quil donne a ma peau une texture huileuse mais pas du tout!! Suffit de bien brasser avant de l'utiliser pour bien melanger les 2 produit et c'est parfait. Je suis du genre a ne pas aimer les cremes grasse et preferer les serum leger et je suis combler

Definitely Recommend

The Aveeno Maxglow Serum+Primer smells great! The product made my skin feel moisturized without feeling oily. Left my skin with a non greasy feel after which I love the most with serums! I applied this before putting on my makeup in the morning and it gave my skin that smooth base you need before applying makeup. Definitely made my makeup go on easier as well! #freeproduct

Good first impression!

I havne't been using this primer very long, as I just recieved it to test out. So this review is just a first impression.
The primer sinks in very fast which is nice. You don't have to wait very long after applying it to put your makeup on. I have normal/combination skin, which this winter has gotten drier, but normally I end up a little oily by the end of the day. Using this hasn't increased that oiliness, so that is a nice bonus!
the product itself has a very light scent, so it shouldn't bother most people. You do have to give it a good shake to get it mixed up properly, but you need very little, so the bottle should last a fairly long time(which is nice because its not cheap).
I already use a serum earlier in my skincare routine, so I don't need the serum benefits of this primer, but it doesnt hurt!
I will probably come back to flush out this review more once I have used it longer than a few days. So far no breakouts!

Aveeno maxglow serum & primer

I really wanted to love this product. It was ok but not anything super great.
I hated how messy it was! The liquid gets all over the cap and top of the bottle where it comes out which is annoying.
I also feel the price point for a drugstore brand is a bit high, in my area it's like $30. I feel like you can buy nicer serums that work better for that price.
My makeup did transfer so I don't find the primer part works the best but it could have just been the combo with my foundation.
I also found my skin was still dry after using it but I do have very dry skin. I had to start using a moisturizer in addition to the serum.
I will say I love how even my skin tone is while using it! I have a lot of redness and that was definitely toned down.
I also loved how it makes your skin glow without looking oily! It gives a really subtly pretty glow without looking really greasy.
In a pinch I think it's a good option, especially since it's easily available at the drugstore but it isn't the best one I've ever tried.
