Calming gel cleanser

This cleanser has a nice consistency for a gel cleanser. It’s rather viscous and feels luxurious. It foams gently and doesn’t irritate my very dry and sensitive skin. It cleans my skin thoroughly and doesn’t leave it feeling tight or uncomfortable when I wash it off.

A nice change from the usual

I have a my usual products that I use to wash my face so I was hesistant to try something new. I was pleased with the Aveeno Hydrating Gel Cleanser and the gel was a nice change in texture.

Will I break from my usual, probably not, but I know I can go back if I need to.

Leaves me nice and smooth

This cleanser is so light! I use it in the evening and love it. I haven't tried to remove makeup with it yet, so I cannot comment on it's effectiveness for that aspect, but I know that I wakeup with a fresh face and don't have to use toner as much.

Effective sensitive cleanser

I have pretty sensitive skin so a lot of cleansers often dry out my skin, but this cleanser was nice and lightweight and cooling.
I can use it a few times a day and its effective at removing makeup (still need extra remover for eyes though).
It calms the redness that I sometimes have as well. I would definitely continue to use this product.

Not bad

I liked this product as it left my skin feeling nice. I have issues with breakouts and unfortunately this didn’t not help. The only thing that keeps them at bay is oil cleansing. This product is a close second though!

I have sensitive skin and have a hard time finding a gentle but effective face wash, I have been enjoying foaming washes but never tried a gel. I'm loving it! It's cooling and moisturizing on my skin but effective at making it feel fresh and clean. I did have to get used to the scent to be honest, it reminds me or hydrocortisone cream for rashes, maybe that is why its so effective. I noticed reduced redness and hydration in my skin after every use. I find it a little hard to get out of the bottle sometimes but overall I do love this wash. Natural ingredients and effectiveness make this a winner in my book! I will definitely be purchasing this in the future.

Love love LOVE it!

I received this cleanser for free from chickadvisor to review and my skin is in love. I have come to accept (and expect) that most face care products are going to irritate my sensitive skin even if just mildly. Well, I have been proven wrong! No tingling, no burning, no redness, just beautiful clean skin that feels and looks amazing. I will definitely be adding this cleanser into my normal skin care routine and am excited to also try the cleansing wipes in this line.

Great Cleanser

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor Review Panel. It was really great. It did not leave a soapy film, was quite soft, and did not irritate my skin at all. It had a nice, gentle scent and left my skin feeling clean, but not dry.

Interesting experience....

this is not my first time using Aveeno, as I grew up with this brand! As a sufferer from eczema, I had my fair share of run-ins with brands that claim to be gentle enough for sensitive skin and are dermatologist approved/recommended. Aveeno, as a brand, was one of those brands that I have no issues running back to - for certain products.

I've had so far - 2 minor reactions with their products. One being a moisturizer (perhaps an older formula) and this cleanser. At first, it was great. Suds well, no scent, worked well with and without my Clarisonic. What happened POST-face wash was slight irritation and itchiness at my jaw - which normally indicates an allergic reaction. Not sure what it is, but I have been cautious when using this. i would use this first, followed with my Cetaphil or CeraVe face wash. I will continue to experiment and monitor my skin's reaction.

I mean, other than that SMALL patch of irritation/redness on my face - the rest of my face felt SOFT and SMOOTH. Odd isn't it?

Of course, not everyone will experience the same thing I have. For me, there is a potential that it was just an "off day" for me.
